i've always been fascinated by tree blossoms. each flower seems so delicate up close, yet when you see the tree as a whole, nothing is more luscious and grandeur. it's mesmerizing to watch the petals fall as if it's snowing. with so many kinds of trees/plants, i need to friend a horticulturist to school me on the greenery portland hosts.

i could only eat a third of it, and it sat in my stomach all day. The first two bites were heavenly with creamy gravy and perfectly seasoned tender chicken. After that, it seemed like a lot of work to eat the meal. Definitely made for men.

it's 1230am and i'm glad to have finished this set of photos, and delighted how the images have turned out. you'll catch yourself saying "aww's" here. yeah, i had to put my pic with this adorable little girl. the camera gets a lot heavier when someone is hanging on your shoulders and the lens is facing you.

I'm jumping with joy because my seven-off started today, and I got to hang out with these two wonderful kids (plus their baby brother). Now that they are older, they can follow directions...if they are paying attention, and it totally makes the shoot so much more fun!

My uncle and aunt took us out to a microbrewery “Rosenbrau” when we were in Korea. B was drooling over the 2000cc serving, but he was afraid that my uncle and aunt would label him as an alcoholic. B found the brochure stuffed in his backpack today, and nothing represents Korean advertisement better than this.

It boasts about the authenticity of the beer. The grains are imported from Germany and the Brewmaster “Constantine” personally oversees the whole procedure. The funny part is the second paragraph. First of all, if you tell Koreans that something is good for you, they’ll eat it. Here is what it says.

High vitamin and mineral content in our beer maintains metabolism, prevents aging, strengthens muscles, and prevents cavities in teeth. Due to low temperature fermentation, our beer contains live cultures that help digestive systems-resolves constipation issues, clears the skin, and restores the body.

Now here is an excuse for B to drink more beer. Since when is beer a health drink?

Here is my brand new fresh newphew! I really can't tell who he looks like but he's so cute. I love his hairline! Unfortunately, the baby doesn't have a name yet, so I'm going to call him Sam Jr. for now. Hopefully Sam Jr will have a cute Korean name by the time B and I go to see him in November.

Apparently, on the 7th day of August, 400 people visited the site. I have to be honest, and say that I open the website now an then. I check how it looks on different screens and make sure all the buttons work properly-strictly professional reasons ^^. Even if I were tweeking the site on the 7th, I could not have clicked on it four hundred times. So, whoever came and viewed my website, thank you! The site traffic has significantly dropped since then...should I be worried?

Who killed two birds with one stone? People who have a set of boy-girl twins. I've always thought that J did it right with having only one pregnancy and coming out with two kids at the end. But what does J do? She gets herself pregnant again! Well, I was summoned to photograph her beautiful family this past weekend, and I had so much fun playing with the twins that I didn't want to leave! A good place to go watch fireworks without feeling claustrophobic in Dallas? Baylor garage! I wish the lights were off for the fireworks, but then it would be very unsafe. I could see fireworks in all directions, the closest one from fair park. It was my very first time to photograph fireworks, and obviously I need more practice, and maybe a longer lens. The bottom one is the original and the top one is a composite (all taken that night). Will post more pics later.
